Most plugins are purchased separately from the main Fishbowl software and then activated as modules within Fishbowl’s interface. So every plugin is an integration, but not every integration is a plugin. Integrations are not built by the makers of those solutions, but by third-party developers using those solutions’ open API. An integration is a connection to any outside solution that is not part of the Fishbowl interface. Our plugins are simple to deploy and an easy way to add functionality to your Fishbowl client. This begs the question, what is the difference between a Fishbowl plugin and an integration? I can answer that quite simply. There is also a separate Plugins page that has about two dozen solutions that go beyond simply integrating with Fishbowl and are full-blown plugins to the software.
